The previous owner, Mr. R, suffered a serious accident in which he lost the use of his hands & arms and has limited mobility of his feet & legs.  His son has stepped in as his primary care giver and the financial impact for the family has been overwhelming.  We were in the process of upgrading his brand new LSX 454 engine for him when the accident occurred.  To help with their financial burden, we bought the engine from them.  After a few weeks of trying to decide what to do with it, Steve thought a giveaway would be appropriate.  Some people have reached out to us and asked how they could help the family during their time of need.  We think this is the most effective way.  Popular online donation sights take a large portion of the funds so this seemed like a better solution.
