HOW DOES IT WORK?
The universal cooling pad serves multiple purposes, including reducing heat soak. The cooling pad's primary function is to transfer heat from the vehicle's various parts and components to the Cooling Pad. This assists in reducing heat soak and shortening the amount of time it takes for the vehicle to cool down between sessions. The Cooling Pad will work with intake manifolds, air-induction systems, intake charge pipes, supercharger manifolds, fuel cells, fuel regulators, transmissions, hood scoops, and anything else that requires cooling.
After activating the Cooling Pad with room-temperature water, store it in an ice-filled cooler or a large refrigerator to cool. To maximize the effectiveness, place an ice bag on top to keep it cool while you wait to make a run or a pass down the track. The cover acts like a sponge, preventing melting ice from running where water is unwanted. Cooling the pad in a refrigerator or ice bath (DO NOT PLACE IN FREEZER) can drop the temperature to as low as 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Following that, it will slowly come up to 15-20 degrees Fahrenheit (6 degrees Celsius) below air temperature.
PRODUCT CARE
- Do not store in water for long periods of time; this will cause the application to expand in size.
- Store in a cold refrigerator or ice chest cooler above the water level.
- DO NOT PLACE IN THE FREEZER
- After a few uses or days, the water inside the product will begin to evaporate, and you will need to re-submerge it in water or allow it to dry out before using the cooling feature again.
- To reactivate, follow the directions printed on the cooling part.
